Speech at Yan'an Forum on literature and art(hereinafter referred to as Speech)is a theoretical article that focuses on the expression and interpretation of Mao Zedong's literary and art thought.For a long time,the majority of literary and art theorists have never stopped accepting and interpreting the Speech.This paper mainly discusses the different directions and features of the Speech in the 1980s(mainly from 1978 to 1989).On the whole,some of these studies still insist on affirming and maintaining the historical significance,guiding position and era value of the Speech,while the other views reflect,question and adjust the Speech to a certain extent.and make new interpretation on the basis of the new era context and theoretical update,Therefore.only a systematic and comprehensive review and summary of the reception,interpretation process,basic characteristics and internal enlightenment of the Speech in the 1980s can we better understand the role and limitations of the Speech in the historical development process,so as to better demonstrate the value of the times.This paper mainly includes three parts:introduction,body and conclusion.Introduction:this part sorts out the current situation of the research on the reception and interpretation of the Speech,and thinks that most of the research results are still on the Speech itself,while the reception and interpretation of the Speech in the 1980s is lack of collation and research to a certain extent,and affirms the research purpose and significance of the paper.Body:the body of the paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter discusses the academic circles' negation and cleaning up of the distortion and utilization of the Speech during the cultural revolution,as well as the criticism of the bourgeois liberalization trend of thought,the outmoded theory and the original meaning of the Speech.After that,I sorted out the viewpoints that fully agree with and accept the Speech,and should continue to follow the literary and artistic spirit of the Speech,and focused on Ding Ling as an example to analyze the old revolutionary writers' strong and firm attitude towards the Speech.The second chapter mainly discussed from two aspects:On the one hand,it is the reflection and adjustment of the leading level of literature and art represented by Deng Xiaoping's speech at the Fourth Congress of Chinese literature and art workers and Hu Qiaomu and Zhou Yang's reinterpretation of speech.On the other hand,based on the background of the emergence of many new literary theories in the second half of the 1980s,this paper makes a dialectical analysis of the reflection,adjustment and debate on the Speech from the perspective of the rational reflection on the Speech in the debate on the aestheticization of literary theories and the query on the Speech by Li Zehou and Xia Zhongyi as the representatives.In the third chapter,the author summarizes the evaluation of the Speech in the writing of literary history and the research on the relationship between the Speech and the creation of specific writers.In addition,with the development of the "method fever" of literary theory,the research community has also started from the new theoretical methods and achieved a new breakthrough in the interpretation of literary and political,popularization and improvement,typicalization and other specific contents in the Speech.At the same time,in the process of new literary theory's continuous involvement,some scholars return to Marxist literary theory itself,and combine the Speech to launch a more in-depth and diversified interpretation,showing the diversified development state of the Speech at this stage,as well as the repositioning of the historical contribution of the Speech and the research of the era value exploration derived from it.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the overall characteristics and internal enlightenment of the reception and interpretation process of the Speech in the 1980s,summarizes the historical and cultural observation,the consciousness of the research subject and the methods and principles of multiple research trends adopted in the research process,and explores the existence of the problems and era value in the reception and interpretation process of the Speech in the 1980s.Conclusion:by combing and integrating the reception and interpretation of the Speech in the 1980s,this paper explores the influence of the study of the Speech on its own spiritual connotation and on the research direction of later researchers,and combines the development of current literary theory and the renewal of literary policy to grasp the connotation and extension of the Speech more objectively and accurately,construction of a relatively scientific and systematic system of the study of the Speech,enables us to see the historical significance of the Speech more rationally and show the era value of the Speech.
