Hu Feng is the important phenomenon that can't be avoided in history of Chinese literature of the 20th century, the literary and art theory of him leaves the valuable property for us on how to inherit Lu Xun's theory, how to develop the new realistic tradition of literature and art of the May Fourth Movement, how to develop writer's subjective fighting spirit facing and embracing live straightly. Mao Zedong's" speech at the forum on literature and art of Yanan "(hereafter referred to as and "speak")indicates it would be played an important role in the history of China's literature since it emerged. As an important literature in China's literature and art history, it influences literary and artistic creation of the Yanan base area and liberated area. After the establishment of new China, "speak" literature norms and literature system modes begines to influence the whole of new China. Hu Feng's literary theory collides with "speak" when it attemptes to push its literature norm that sets up in Yanan base area and liberated area to the road of the whole country, thus causing his unfortunate destiny.The text is divided into four parts altogether:The first chapter introduces research history and current situation about Hu Feng's literary theory.Chapter II aims at the difference about Realism between Hu Feng's and his opposition person's understand. Hu Feng's realistic theory growes up in resisting the subjective formula doctrine and objectivism struggle,and he thinks these two kinds of inclination have brought abominable influence to literary and artistic creation. Hu Feng doesn't object to literature and art serving for politics, but he thinks literature and art should closely reflect actual life, and the writer should create with his own enthusiasm. Difference has happened with the opposition persons in thisChapter III discusses the reason and the focus questions about national style controversy. This text tells us the national style question involves the use of the old form and appraisal of the tradition of literature and art of the May Fourth Movement. One party of debate think the folk form is the centre source of the national style and belittled the May Fourth Movement; Though another party disagree with this view, they have already rewritten the May Fourth Movement. Hu Feng has criticized two sides described above as the firm adherent of the May Fourth Movement. National style issue indicates" literature and art served workers, peasants and soldiers "in" speak", at this moment, status of the broad masses of workers and peasants are lifted to very high.Hu Feng's theory is different with" speaks" on the old form and peasants'view.Chapterâ…£attempts to explore the causes of the problem of intellectuals, intellectuals on Mao Zedong's concept of ideological,and points out Hu Feng was different from "speak" about intellectual's thought thransformation. Hu Feng is ignorant in politics, which caused unfortunate destiny.
