Fu Baoshi's Landscape Painting "Shuikou" Image Research

Fu Baoshi,as a master of modern art,made fruitful contributions to the development of traditional Chinese landscape painting.During the revolution of Chinese painting in the 1950s,Fu Baoshi had great achievements and creativity.With his profound art history and art practice beyond ordinary people,he created a new image of the"shuikou" element in traditional Chinese landscape painting.He took the image of"Shuikou" in Chinese landscape painting,which has always been considered extremely difficult to deal with,as the creation theme and an important breakthrough point,and explored his artistic transformation constantly with "Shuikou",a microscopic element of landscape,and brought inspiration to later generations of landscape painters.Fu Baoshi was in the changing tide of The Times.Facing the improvement of Chinese painting,he insisted that Chinese painting must "change".Based on the microscopic study of Fu Baoshi's artistic style in the process of seeking change,this paper attempts to excavate the particularity of his landscape painting "Shuikou" image,and explore the greatness of Fu Baoshi's landscape painting from the perspective of small things.This paper takes the image of "Shuikou" in Fu Baoshi's landscape painting as the research object,and chooses the landscape works with "Shuikou" as the main body of the picture as the entry point.The first chapter gives an overview of the meaning,category and function of shuikou in Chinese landscape painting,followed by a brief description of the new changes of Shuikou under the pen of Li Keran,Lu Yanshao and Fu Baoshi in modern times.The second chapter discusses the new characteristics of fu Baoshi's landscape painting "Shuikou" after the image reform and the aesthetic interest it brings to the audience.Its unique framing,perspective and composition bring the audience special aesthetic interest.Analyzing the particularity of shuikou image from the aesthetic point of view is more helpful to understand the artistic style of Fu Baoshi's landscape painting.The third chapter analyzes the image of shuikou in Fu Baoshi's landscape painting from the angles of brush strokes,textuality,composition,form and characters.Fu Baoshi's social environment and his own factors have a great impact on the formation of the "Shuikou" image style.This paper analyzes the causes of his "Shuikou" image from the aspects of natural sketching and poetic feelings.At the same time,the unique "shuikou" image also laid a foundation for the formation of its overall artistic style.The fourth chapter briefly expounds the significance of fu Baoshi's"Shuikou" image style transformation and its enlightenment to contemporary art practice under the background of the new era in the 1950s.Fu Baoshi's achievements in landscape painting can be studied from more perspectives.This paper starts from his representative images of shuikou and sorts out his artistic style from the perspectives of images and literature.There are still some shortcomings that need to be further explored.
