"Traveling Map" is one of the painting themes repeatedly depicted by the landscape painters of the past.It usually depicts the characters and horses traveling between mountains and roads,or the heavy objects,and the difficult progress;or the play,the expression of idleness,showing the expression Different looks.The high,distant and lonely mood created by it has rich aesthetic connotation,and is highly respected by the past landscape painters.This article takes the "Northern Song travel theme landscape painting" as the research object.Firstly,it interprets the meaning of "travel" from three angles of literature,aesthetics,and landscape culture;and makes a systematic study of the source,production process,and development context of the "travel" theme landscape painting.Comb and explore the evolution of the Northern Song travel theme landscape paintings and the inherent laws and connections in the change of art history;and select the Northern Song travel landscape paintings-Li Cheng,Fan Kuan,Guo Xi as entry points,from the background of the era,pen and ink language,artistic characteristics,In terms of traveling imagery,etc.,the three artists' in-depth analysis and interpretation of the classic traveling landscape paintings are used to interpret the evolution characteristics of the landscape painting style of the Northern Song traveling themes,and to discover the development rules and common features of traveling landscape paintings.Differences and changes in the performance of the same subject.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part mainly explains the meaning of "travel" from the three dimensions of literature,aesthetics,and landscape culture.It is pointed out that the landscape paintings of the Northern Song Dynasty are mostly realism that expresses the deep sense of the artistic conception of the picture and the objective description of nature,and presents the aesthetic characteristics of "the egoless state in which things are viewed by things".The second part traces the origin of the theme of "Travel" in landscape painting.From the gestation of the traveling image of the "traveling map of the chariot and horse" painted in the mural of the tomb in the early period,to the beginning of the traveling image in the "Business Travel Map" in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,and then the development and evolution of the traveling image since the independent division of landscape painting in the Sui,Tang and Five Dynasties This long evolutionary process laid the foundation for the formation of the Northern Song travel themed landscape paintings.The third part mainly analyzes and interprets the landscape paintings of Li Cheng,Fan Kuan,and Guo Xi in the Northern Song Dynasty,and analyzes and explains the artistic images and characteristics of the three painters' paintings.It mainly involves:picture composition,travel point scene,picture mood,etc.,which reflects its worldly and realistic painting interest.The fourth part explores the deep image world of "travel" from the inside and out,and expounds the four image characteristics of "high and distant mountains","desolate and cold","life as a journey" and "hometown".This painting theme is not easy to express the charm and emotion,and appreciate the meaning in a variety of ways.The fifth part summarizes the influence of the Northern Song traveling themed landscape painting on future generations and the enlightenment of modern and contemporary traveling landscape painting,and deeply considers how to create the traveling world of the Northern Song landscape painting without the original traveling culture.
