With the continuous development of modern information technology,mobile learning has gradually become an important way of learning.In such background,various learning software is booming,which provides Chinese learners a variety of choices.And it's becomes an important platform for them to acquire Chinese knowledge and improve Chinese communication skills.According to some data,there are 450 kinds of Chinese learning apps that can be found in the mobile app store at present,with a considerable number.In the face of such a variety of Chinese learning software,we inevitably have the following questions: what is the current development of these softwares? What is the current situation of learners' use of softwares? What are the characteristics of high quality Chinese learning apps? What are the defects? How to evaluate these learning softwares? In order to answer the above questions,this paper takes the international Chinese learning app as the object and conducts a systematic and comprehensive survey.This paper first investigates 300 kinds of international Chinese learning apps.From the perspective of APP type,naming language,media language,development subject,service object,user evaluation and other basic information,this paper makes a comprehensive investigation and analysis.Secondly,a questionnaire survey is carried out for overseas students to understand the use of learning apps for international Chinese.Including the improvement of Chinese learning effect of overseas students,difficulties of using app for overseas students and the demand for app function,etc.Then,four representative apps,such as Pleco,hello words,Chinese skill and HSK online,are selected for case analysis,and in-depth investigation is conducted from the aspects of content,function,interface design,operation and maintenance,use guide,advantages and disadvantages,etc.to summarize the basic elements of high-quality international Chinese learning app.At the end of this paper,the author puts forward the framework of the evaluation index system of the international Chinese learning app,analyzes the necessity of establishing the evaluation index system of the international Chinese learning app,and puts forward the preliminary framework of the evaluation index system.
