The recessive geometry in the classical painting supports the construction of the picture and makes the picture balanced and orderly. In this paper, the recessive geometry in the classical painting is taken as the starting point to analyze the presentation mode of the recessive geometry in the classical painting with examples, and compare with the application of the geometry in the modern painting language to find the similarity and difference between them.Secondly,it discusses how the recessive geometry of classical painting is transformed in the modern painting language. The composition, order and geometry of classical painting are more recessive. These factors are more direct in modern painting.Modern painting breaks up and recombines the objective things, and makes geometric deformation of the objective things to enhance the visual impact of the picture, which brings a new kind of Visual experience provides a variety of possibilities for the presentation of geometric factors.Classical painting and modern painting are different in visual expression and essence. Finally, combined with my own creation practice,I explore the influence of geometry on my own creation.Through the use of uncoordinated shapes and colors between geometry,I can show my spiritual feelings.Through my own attempt,I can find that geometry is the direct expression of my spiritual feelings, the detached expression of concrete images and the more accurate presentation of my spirit.
