"Shuowen Jiezi" Collation And Research Of Water Department Characters

The subject focuses on the 468 Chinese characters which flow from the words of water in the part of the water of Shuo Wen Jie Zi,in order to have a systematic study of the development and evolution of Radical words from the Pre-Qin period to the period of two Han dynasties,and Xu Shen`s understandings of Shui Bu characters.T he article will be divider into two parts,the first volume is to have a setting interpretation of Shui Bu characters of Shuo Wen Jie Zi,the another part will explore the relevant issue about Shui Bu characters on the basis of the first volume.The second volume is made of three parts:Chapter one: on the basis of unearthed materials,I will ravel out the process of Shui Bu characters forms,and research the usage of words from water especially in the Oracles and Bronzes which were recorded in Shuo Wen Jie Zi,then narrates them respectively.which aim to establish a relatively complete system of Shui Bu characters` change in using.Chapter two:Using the Xu Shen`s acquaintance of the originate of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River for clues,I will trace the source of two rivers` source to attempt to obtain where is Xu Shen`s knowledge from and how much is his cognition.In addition,by reconstructing charts of the general picture of the Yellow River,Chang Jiang River and Huai River in Xu Shen`s Shuo Wen Jie Zi,so that to realize the level of Xu Shen knowing hydrology of han dynasty.Chapter three,By comparing the water lanes recorded in Shuo Wen Jie Zi with which one recorded in Geography in Han Books,the same records in two books will not to be expounded,but,the different descriptions in two books will be categorized and correct errors.I also excavate the reasons why some hydrographic charts in Geography of the Han Dynasty were not included in Shuo Wen Jie Zi?...
