A writer's creation is always influenced by his life experience, and Eileen chang is no exception. Her novels, though admittedly impersonal and bleak, also show traces of a self-identification narrative.Literature also played an important role in the process of zhang's reconstruction of her self-identity.Therefore,based on the analysis of Eileen chang's "personality self-identity" and "literary self-identity",this paper tries to analyze the reflexive significance of literature to Eileen chang's self-identity.Chapter one divides Eileen chang's life into three stages, and analyzes the major events that influence her self-identity in each stage. In these three stages, the foundation of self-identity was laid in childhood.During study in Hong Kong, she began to repair the trauma of my family of origin to self-identity,and successfully repaired and developed gender self-identity in the early stage of fame. The second chapter focuses on the characteristics of Eileen chang's literary self-identity.This paper focuses on the analysis of how the literary self is subject to the personality self, but transcends the personality self. The literary self keeps growing, gradually getting rid of the dependence on readers' preferences, and exploring the outside world with its own perfection as its starting point. At the same time, she hope to give enlightenment to others as well as to herself. The third chapter analyzes the reflexivity of writing to Eileen chang's self-identity with the help of Judith Herman and Freud's theory of wound repair. This reflexive significance is mainly reflected in three aspects: firstly,it provides a place of absolute safety for Eileen chang;secondly,Eileen chang can experience the life she has never had in the virtual character, thus healing her own regrets; The last part is to return to the scene of trauma in the works, and transform the trauma in the process of writing the works,so that it can be integrated and become a part of life. The fourth chapter discusses the special artistic presentation of this reflexivity.Firstly, this paper analyzes the fictional sense of illusion generated when the characters' self-identity is broken, and the artistic skills of Eileen chang in creating the sense of illusion.Secondly, starting from the inner conflict when the characters' self-identity is broken, this paper analyzes the artistic features of Eileen chang's character image. Finally,it analyzes the transformation between "hot" and "cold" when the inner changes of the characters occur,as well as the artistic presentation of this transformation.
