When it comes to the Qing Dynasty stele movement, the most representative figure is Deng Shiru. He was very good at the four script styles of the seal script script, and his calligraphy was highly praised at that time. His seal script was first taken from Li Si and Li Yangbing, and then he copied the excellent works since the Qin and Han dynasties. He incorporated the official script technique into the seal script and skillfully blended his own intentions with the ancient brushwork. The structure was relaxed, calm and uninteresting. The calligraphers of the late Qing dynasty set a successful example. This article focuses on Deng Shiru's learning and copying creation of "The Story of Bai's Thatched Cottage".It analyzes and studies Deng Shiru's seal script techniques from three aspects: brushwork, lettering, and composition, and explores how Deng Shiru seeks the roots and pursues the beauty of form and how to combine this beauty with calligraphy. The creation is organically combined, focusing on the important influence and enlightenment of the author through copying and learning. This article is divided into three parts. The first part: starting from the Qing Dynasty calligraphy thoughts and Deng Shiru's life experience, discussing the reasons for the formation of Deng Shiru's seal script style and its influence on later generations;the second part: using Deng Shiru's mature seal script "The Story of Bai's Cottage" as a model, using Qi Hanyou The teacher's "Calligraphy Momentum" intuitively and clearly interprets the techniques of his seal script from three aspects: strokes, knots, and composition;the third part: the calligraphy creation based on Deng Shiru's "Bai's Thatched Cottage" as a model is the chapter that this article focuses on and analyzes.Take the representative work "Linshi Guwen" by the calligrapher Wu Changshuo as an example, from the four aspects of brushwork, character, ink and composition,a comparative analysis of Wu Changshuo's choices and innovations when learning Deng Shiru's techniques, and record the author's creation process to Deng Shiru's seal script techniques Application and innovation;and summarize the enlightenment of Deng Shiru's seal script creation to the author's calligraphy creation.
