Comparison Of Seal Script "Heart Sutra" By Deng Shiru,Wu Changshuo,Wang Fuan And Its Enlightment To My Seal Script Creation

Seal scripts have been written for more than a thousand years since Li Si of Qin Dynasty and Li Yangbing of Tang Dynasty.Although they are well-known,they have not made a great success.Until the Qing Dynasty,Deng Shiru established a sect and publicized the writing of seal scripts.The small seal scripts were transformed from carved stone to ink,and from official scripts to folk scripts.It was a mature symbol of the practice of stele learning.Through the study of Deng Shiru,Wu Changshuo and Wang Fuan,it is found that they all began to learn calligraphy and Jinshi Seal Carving when they were young,and they had achieved remarkable results when they were young.All three of them were influenced by certain family origins.Most of their ancestors or fathers were scholars who came from different backgrounds.The three indissoluble bonds with Xiling Seal Printing Society belong to the masters of seal books.Although Deng Shiru,who was born in Qianlong period,was not born in Xiling,but because of Deng Shiru's great contribution to the history of Chinese calligraphy and seal cutting and its influence on later generations,at the beginning of “Heart Sutra” Printing Society,Deng Shiru was erected beside Xiaolonghong Cave in Gushan Community Site.The Xiling people in successive dynasties respected Deng Shiru and were the spiritual leaders of the founding of Xiling Printing Society.Deng Shiru opened the way for Wu Changshuo to climb the peak of seal art,and Wu Changshuo pointed out the direction for the formation of Wang Fuan seal style.All the three calligraphers are good at seal script and have written the “Heart Sutra”,which is an important representative work.Therefore,they have common characteristics.Through specific comparative study,they will be of great help to my personal seal script creation and fill in the gaps in the research of the “Heart Sutra”.The purpose of the study of “Heart Sutra” written by Deng Shiru,Wu Changshuo and Wang Fuan is to find out the similarities and differences among the three seal books,and to explore the origins of the three calligraphers' creation from the aspects of constitution,calligraphy,ink and brushwork,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the future creation of seal books.Its significance lies in verifying the epochal and stylistic characteristics of the three calligraphers' seal books “Heart Sutra” in different periods,and creating seal books with more new era flavor and keeping pace with the times.
