Red films refer to films with red themes."Red" refers to the combination of red ideology and film themes,taking revolutionary historical events,significant social events,positive life attitudes,and people who have made major contributions to society as examples.The main object of expression;it also refers to the revolutionary spirit and heroism ideology that flows through the blood of the film works.As a special film genre,red film has profound functions of edifying,inspiring and motivating people,and because of its existence as a kind of culture,it has distinct inheritance and proliferation.In-depth and systematic research on the narrative strategies and dissemination effects of red films is conducive to better inheritance and development of red film culture and maintain cultural self-confidence.This research? aims to explore the red film as a symbol of information dissemination,analyze the social value carried by the red film,and further explore the possibility of the red film as an information dissemination resource.The research focuses on the 26 red films released on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China as the key case study objects.It mainly uses content analysis,comparative research,questionnaire surveys and other research methods.The narrative rhythm,narrative structure,and narrative symbols are analyzed in a comprehensive and in-depth manner,and the communication effects of the audience and the market are evaluated through questionnaire surveys,box office reference,and word-of-mouth tracking.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)2019 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.The red film is considered as a non-verbal system in information dissemination.Its advantage in information dissemination lies in its omniscience observation point and situational emotional substitution.,Penetrating entertaining and gradual introduction of information;(2)There are still many shortcomings in the narrative strategy of red films,such as the uniform rendering strategy for heroes,overly sensational lens narrative,and neglect of innovative narrative structure It will cause the recipient to deviate from the original intention of the communicator in the selective contact,selective understanding and selective memory of the information;(3)The selection of red films should be based on reality and pay attention to humanistic feelings;in character creation It should avoid simple binary opposition expressions,tap the"weakness of human nature" performance;pay attention to the enrichment and layering of the narrative structure,and avoid blindly "hands-on" film production.
