Analysis Of Interpretation On Grand Ceremony Of The 70th Anniversary Of Founding Of PRC From The Interpretive Theory Perspective

As one of the basic theories about the field of interpretation,the Interpretive Theory has developed deeply in widespread research and practice.From the perspective of literature,only a few doctoral theses about the Interpretative Theory focus on the cognitive science,theoretical elements and teaching mode,while most of the master?s theses about the Interpretive Theory take summarizing interpretation strategies as main direction.From the perspective of the Interpretive Theory,combined with the commentaries of the 70 th anniversary of founding of PRC and corresponding interpretation,this thesis aims to summarize interpretation strategies about the typical cases selected through analyzing the Interpretive Theory?s embodiment and application in interpretation.This thesis probes the steps,characteristics and values of interpretation strategies through literature analysis and case study.Literature analysis is to probe the essence and characteristics of the Interpretive Theory by consulting related literature.Through literature analysis,the study aims to master its development process and research results,to form a general impression of the Interpretive Theory,and to sort out the framework of the theory systematically to provide theoretical support for the following case study.Case study is to make a thorough and careful study about the representative interpretation cases and to summarize the corresponding interpretation strategies.The combination of the two analytical methods not only gradually form a dynamic mastery of the Interpretive Theory,but also enrich the typical case study in the field of interpretation on the basis of previous studies.In this study,Chinese commentaries and speeches delivered by the leader at the conference were used as the source language,and English interpretation as the target language.Through case studies,this thesis finds that the Interpretive Theory is of guiding significance to interpreters? practical work,and interpreters can better deal with the problems encountered in interpretation under the framework of the theory.In addition,by analyzing the application of the Interpretive Theory in interpretation practice,this thesis provides some reference value for the study of the Interpretive Theory in the field of interpretation in China.
