Ming Dynasty,the most splendid period of ancient Chinese dance notations ever since and also the shaping stage of the systematic ancient dance notations in Chinese history,is of great importance in history of ancient dance notations.Taking the dance notations of sacrificial Ya Yue during the Ming Dynasty as the research object,the paper discusses the basic facts of sacrificial Ya Yue during the Ming Dynasty,exemplifies and interpreting existing dance notations,and analyzes the historical status of the dance notations as well as the studies on its extensibility.The specific structure is as follows:The topic of first part is "A Basic Survey of sacrificial Ya Yue Dance in Ming Dynasty",which explores service objects and changing norms of sacrificial Ya Yue dance during Ming Dynasty through analyzing official documents at that time.The topic of second part is "Examples of Existing Dance Notations of Sacrificial Ya Yue Dance in Ming Dynasty",which briefly analyzes fourteen ancient books recording the dance notations of Ming sacrificial Ya Yue dance in three categories�archaized notations,pircture-record notations and text-record notations.In this part," Han Bangqi's Yue ideologies" in his Recordings of Yue by Yuanluo(Yuanluo is the author's courtesy name)as well as �the general notation of Yue dance � Notation of Xiaowu Dance to the Country Music and Notation of Xiaowu Dance for Lingxing Temple(including Notation of Character Dance)used to worship Lingxing Temple� in The Book of Rule of Yue are concretely analyzed.Also,"Yue ideologies of Li Zhizao" in the Study of Ritual and Norms in Pangong School is discussed.In this way,study of former researchers can be supplemented.The topic of the third part is "The Analysis and Translation of Existing Dance Notations of Sacrificial Ya Yue Dance during Ming Dynasty",which sorts out the fourteen ancient books in chronological orders and the drawing methods of dance notation in the book.Setting Recordings of Yue by Yuanluo as an example and combining the related temperament knowledge,this part tries to analyze and translate the Yuanqiu dance notations by the analysis method of "ten discussions of dance" by Zhu Zaiyu.The topic of fourth part is "Historical Status of Dance Notations of Sacrificial Ya Yue Dance during Ming Dynasty".It defines the historical status of Dance Notations of sacrificial Ya Yue dance during Ming Dynasty through analyzing its historical environment forward and backward.This part put forth that Ming Dynasty not only �saw the qualitative change in the recordings of dance notations�,but also �opened the new chapter for the coming splendid era�.The fifth part is entitled "Discussion on the Extensibility of the Study on the Dance Notations of Sacrificial Ya Yue Dance during the Ming Dynasty".From micro to macro lens,as well as theory to practice,the paper gradually teases out the extensibility of sacrificial Ya Yue dance during the Ming Dynasty in academic and social aspects.The dissertation tries to come up with practical propositions at a social level.
