This paper uses a variety of academic research methods,in the second chapter of the article to sort out the overall development of the theme color,found that the theme of the film in the overall development,there are many angles of film type change,its technique is more and more delicate,the theme is more and more real,from the description of the big era background to small characters to reflect the significance of the times.The third chapter analyzes and studies the basic tonality of color in the theme movie,mainly from the cool and warm tone,single tone and multi tone.The fourth chapter summarizes the characteristics of the color composition of the theme film:static beauty two-dimensional color composition,dynamic beauty multi-dimensional color composition,combined rhythm beauty,and compares the similarities and differences between the theme film and other film types.With its unique charm,theme film color has many important functions,such as color narrative,color lyric,color shaping artistic image,color enhancing film spirit and color setting atmosphere tone.
