Interpretation Of The Sculpture "Story Series"

Generally speaking,modern and contemporary sculpture works still present the aesthetic structure and aesthetic psychology rooted in the traditional culture of the Chinese nation to a large extent,and its philosophical thoughts and aesthetic concepts still exert a far-reaching influence on the development of contemporary sculpture.Because of my love for traditional sculpture,I feel that it has something we contemporary people need,mysterious and healing,which generates a sense of pleasure for reference.On this basis,my creation is a continuation of my undergraduate creation on the basis of drawing lessons from the cultural symbols of ancient Chinese traditional figure statues,which are simplified and abstractly expressed by character images.On the one hand,it enriches the connotation of the works and reveals the multidimensional elements of traditional Chinese sculpture.On the one hand,I hope that my works can be integrated with traditional sculpture,and at the same time,I can explore new techniques and forms of new space language to collide with traditional ideas,so as to dig out the essence and spirit of traditional sculpture and create works with new vitality.
