Fear is one of the most primitive emotions of human beings.It is a normal emotional experience widely existing in adults and children.In the face of emotion,adults can take effective measures to resolve,while children's cognition is in the development stage,and they do not have the ability to recognize and deal with emotion.How to effectively regulate is of great significance.There are many reasons that affect children's fear,such as half knowing and half understanding of things,learning through imitation and family education.A certain degree of fear,can start the body's defense system,so that children remain vigilant,help to avoid some harm.Through the construction of scientific cognition,setting an example aura,psychotherapy can help children regulate fear.Based on the psychological research on children's fear,this paper mainly studies and practices from the perspective of picture book creation.Examples demonstrate that the picture book with the theme of fear attracts children's interest in reading with its unique artistry by creating interesting pictures,creating contrast atmosphere and creating fantasy space.At the same time,it plays its function to help children identify,empathize,express and control fear between pages.In the creative practice of chocolate vase,it is normal to create a relaxed story tone to convey fear through metaphor and humorous plot,and more importantly,to face it positively.When faced with their own imperfections,to have the courage to accept themselves.The combination of comprehensive materials and collage makes the picture more textural and in line with children's natural innocence.Hope that through the creation of the author to better help children regulate fear,fear theme for the creation of picture books to provide an example.
