With the gradual penetration of the Internet into people’s lives,people’s behavior and cognitive patterns have changed drastically,and with the empowerment of network technology,more and more people have transformed from audiences in the traditional sense to producers of communication.Their content copyright,attention,social relationship,metadata,etc.have become the source of profit for online platforms.The advent of the big data era heralds that all behaviors of Internet users are recorded as data and people will not have complete privacy.Personal information,browsing history,consumption records,and other personal privacy are all in the hands of Internet companies.The audience is treated as a commodity itself and an online resource,and their time and energy will create residual value for the platform.Therefore,the concept,development history and characteristics of "digital labor" can help to understand the current social phenomenon,enrich the theoretical knowledge of creation,better understand the art works created by artists that reflect the present,further understand the profound impact of the Internet era on the present life and integrate theories and thoughts on social reality into their own This paper is based on the "digital laborers".Using the concept of "digital labor" as a starting point,this paper explores the relationship between people and online technology in the Internet age,and discusses how art has been influenced by it and how it has developed.The paper is divided into five parts: the first part first discusses the origin,background and development of the concept of "digital labor".The second part focuses on the process of globalization of digital labor,and discusses how the ideal model of "gift economy",in which Internet users share for free,cooperate with each other,and promote each other economically,has been transformed into a capitalist mode of production that exploits the free labor provided by Internet users,and alienates people even more with the popularization of the Internet.The third part is the exploitation of human beings by social media and live streaming.The third section discusses the phenomenon of "digital labor" in China’s contemporary life,starting with social media,live streaming,data surveillance leaks,and gaming.This section focuses on the impact of Internet development on contemporary art,as well as the concept and development of Internet art and post-Internet art.This section focuses on the impact of the Internet on contemporary art,as well as the concept and development of Internet art and post-Internet art.The fifth section discusses that contemporary art should focus on social issues from the perspective of art creation and in the context of his own graduation work,and that artists should learn to link the issues of the present time to their own works,and to provoke the audience to rethink and learn to deal with the symbiotic relationship with technology.
