Research On Changsha Kiln Porcelain In Tang Dynasty

Changsha Kiln porcelain in the Tang Dynasty is a major innovation of the porcelain industry in the Tang Dynasty under the background of "blue in the South and white in the north" market.It inherits the celadon style of Yue Kiln and Yuezhou kiln.On the basis of underglaze stippling and underglaze color porcelain,it creates new porcelain decoration,such as overglaze color,brown green color painting,pattern printing and decal.It also takes poetry,ink and calligraphy as the decorative pattern of porcelain,which is unique.With the vigorous development of poetry culture and wine culture in Tang Dynasty,Changsha Kiln porcelain began to be welcomed by more people,and gradually sold as commercial porcelain through air trade.In this paper,the Tang Dynasty Changsha Kiln porcelain unearthed in various parts of the country as the research object,focusing on the Tang Dynasty Changsha Kiln porcelain unearthed in various parts of the country after 1990 to the end of 2020,sorting out and analyzing the new archaeological materials published before the end of 2020,on the basis of the archaeological investigation and excavation of the Tang Dynasty Changsha kiln existing results,make a new material supplement.Based on the analysis and study of the newly unearthed materials from 1990 to2020,and the research results of Changsha kiln published by the research group of Changsha kiln in 1990,this paper makes clear the specific situation of Changsha Kiln porcelain unearthed in China in the Tang Dynasty;through the analysis of the unearthed sites,relics and varieties of Changsha Kiln porcelain in the Tang Dynasty,it identifies Changsha kiln as a commodity for external sales On the basis of new materials,this paper explores the historical status of Changsha Kiln porcelain in Tang Dynasty,the clearer transportation routes in the process of domestic sales and the possibility of different routes for its export products.The results show that there are three water transportation routes for Changsha Kiln porcelain in the Tang Dynasty: 1.Along the Xiangjiang River,it flows through Dongting Lake to enter the Yangtze River;along the Yangtze River,it flows down to Yangzhou and Ningbo port,and then it is sold to the northern region through the canal;2.After entering the Yangtze River along the Xiangjiang River,it flows upstream to Chongqing and Sichuan;3.Along the Xiangjiang River,it goes back to the South and passes through Hengyang Yang,Chenzhou and other places into Guangdong,Guangdong port from the re shipment began to export.The simple and unadorned decoration innovated by Changsha Kiln porcelain has not only spread widely in China,but also further promoted its expansion to overseas markets,making the products eventually exported to Japan,Southeast Asia,Central Asia and even Africa,Kenya and other regions,becoming an important product and evidence of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.By collecting and sorting out the domestic unearthed Changsha Kiln porcelain,this paper can not only make up for the vacancy in the existing research materials,but also hope to provide a reference and index for the future research of Changsha Kiln porcelain.
