A Feasibility Development Study Of Contemporary Public Art In Chinese Rural Areas

From the perspective of historical process,China's rural areas have been under construction in the development mode of quasi City,which leads to the rural areas in the urban radiation area,like the "urban back garden",lack of local cultural characteristics;Rural economic development is slow,education level is low,population loss and aging are serious,which leads to the vicious circle of rural development.But on the contrary,because of the crazy model construction of cities,this "extreme modernization" has exhausted Chinese culture in China's urban construction.Maybe the villages under the "semi transformation" may find the remains of Chinese culture,or the possibility of the development of Chinese contemporary public art characteristics in the "semi transformation" villages.In the recent "fourteenth five year plan" issued by the state,great importance has been attached to the construction and development of culture and art,the improvement of cultural soft power,and the reconstruction of rural culture in pursuit of rapid economic development,which is an important part of the construction of rural spiritual civilization.Under this background,this paper discusses whether there is a feasible development path for art in the countryside,not in the model village,from the perspective of art intervention and public art intervention.This paper analyzes and studies the feasible development methods of contemporary public art in rural areas of China,emphasizes the importance of art intervention in rural areas,and summarizes and puts forward the strategies and roads suitable for the development of contemporary public art in rural areas of China from the successful art practice cases at home and abroad.To a certain extent,the intervention of contemporary public art will not only make the countryside return to the public vision and be concerned by the society,but also make the rural culture and Chinese culture preserved and reshaped,change and enrich the rural appearance,and increase the citizens' sense of identity with their own culture.It is hoped that China can practice and summarize the contemporary public art suitable for its own development.
