installation art has many advantages,such as convenient production and strong expression.Among many installation art works,works with emotional expression show a good development prospect.However,installation art is not widely accepted in China,and there are fewer works that can reflect emotions.Considering the production cost and design time,the innovation and development of the design industry are constrained to a certain extent,forming an inherent thinking mode,resulting in the slow development of installation art with emotional expression.In order to solve the above problems,this paper adopts the experimental exploration of combining emotional expression with material and modeling,through the visualization of psychological perception and the application of basic modeling language,such as straight line represents clearness and smoothness,curve represents romance,broken line represents twists and turns,so as to further understand the emotional communication brought by materials and shapes.(1)In this paper,we will use basic modeling language and emotional materials to conduct experimental research,and then explore the texture of materials to study the temperature and psychological feeling of different texture materials.The combination of language and emotion will be more vivid.(2)The use of visual,auditory,olfactory,tactile and other perceptual elements to experience the feelings of different shapes and materials,more vividly reflect the feelings of happiness,fear,anger,missing and other emotions,so as to more accurately apply materials and shapes to public space,so as to express the unique function of space.Based on the combination of material and shape,this paper combines the principles of psychology and design to enhance the emotional value and aesthetic value of the works,and provide more design ideas for the research of installation art.Installation art can improve the flexibility of the space,make the original empty space give a certain significance,and installation art has a certain degree of interactivity,how to enhance the interactivity of space through emotional expression is the main.
