Research On The Aging Suitability Of Interior Furnishings In Community Care Institutions Based On Service Design

In recent years,in order to cope with the severe aging situation in China,the state has issued a number of the elderly-care policy to help alleviate the pressure to provide for the aged,Community support for the aged is one of them.The mode of providing for the aged is different from the traditional mode of providing for the aged.It takes the community as the unit,providing the daily care service for the elderly at home,and providing the old-age service facilities with the help of the old age service as the supplementary.The heated discussion of the mode of providing for the aged shows that the social awareness of aging is gradually increasing.In the field of design,there are more and more literatures about aging research,but most of them focus on the aging research of building space,products and indoor facilities.They pay more attention to the living problems of the elderly caused by their physiological functions,while few design studies focus on providing spiritual care for the elderly,especially in the field of interior furnishing design.As we all know,furnishing design is to improve the visual effect and spiritual and cultural atmosphere of the space environment by arranging and displaying the furnishings.Through the research on the design of indoor furnishings for the aged in community care institutions,the author enhances the spiritual care for the elderly in order to provide a warm,comfortable and positive living atmosphere for the elderly and stimulate their initiative and enthusiasm in life.Service design is a thinking method about how to explore,design and implement.This study uses the method of service design to research the aging of indoor furnishings.Through the investigation on the aging design of indoor furnishings at home and abroad,and the induction of user characteristics,the strategy of the aging design of indoor furnishings of community care institutions is discussed.Through the integration of service design with people-oriented and co-creation design concepts,combined with service design methods and tools to explore and analysis of the elderly's display needs and establish a demand model for elderly furnishings,providing a design guidance for indoor furnishings aging design.Finally,the application and practice of indoor furnishings aging design for retro-narrate space are carried out,and the design scheme is evaluated and fed back through service design method to form an iterative design method.The emergence of service design provides effective methods and tools to integrate the resources of community interior decoration design,helps to improve the overall quality of community care institutions,and provides a new interdisciplinary perspective for the research of aging.
