Lingyuan Shadow Puppetry Research

Shadow puppetry is an ancient folk art,which combines art,music,literature and other art forms.It is a popular form of entertainment among the people.Lingyuan shadow play,as an important branch of northern shadow play,has more than 300 years of history.In 2006 it was selected into the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list,which is enough to prove its artistic value.In recent years,the development of Lingyuan shadow play is not optimistic,and its academic has a lot of space to research.That is why author takes Lingyuan shadow play as the research object,and strives to make a comprehensive study in depth and width.This paper starts from the historical origin of the shadow play and the present situation of Lingyuan shadow play,and through the investigation of Lingyuan shadow play club,this paper will summarize the artistic form characteristics of Lingyuan shadow play,in the end this paper will make an in-depth exploration of the cultural interpretation about Lingyuan shadow play.The field investigation and literature study are the main research methods in this paper,Meanwhile,the collected atlas data,audio and video data will be analyzed,in order to get more comprehensive and in-depth research content.Through the theoretical research,this paper hope to discuss the development course and artistic characteristics of Lingyuan shadow play,so that more and more people can know and realize that Lingyuan shadow play is a historic art,and it will advance the development of Lingyuan shadow play.
