There is a Chinese idiom,do as the Romans do when you are in a foreign country.It means that you should obey the local customs and habits in other places.The main purpose for foreign students to learn Chinese is to use Chinese to achieve cross-cultural communication.Due to the lack of understanding of Chinese culture,foreign students will often cause some communication barriers in the process of communicating with Chinese people.In this study many cultural phenomena are selected as the research objects.Because homophonic culture appears in all aspects of life,it is very common.If you don't know about it,it is easy to cause cross-cultural communication barriers.This study focuses on how to let foreign students learn and understand Chinese homophonic culture.Based on the task-based teaching method and the application of multimedia software in homophonic teaching,this study investigates the teaching effect of 120 Kazakhstan students with medium and advanced Chinese level.It analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of this teaching method,and puts forward some ideas for further improving the application of multimedia software in the task-based teaching method.In this study using the questionnaire survey of social linguistics and auxiliary,interview and observation investigation method,is analyzed by applying the method of literature research and theory of interpretation,the task-based teaching method combined with computer software tools to harmonics teaching of students,according to the analysis to explore the significance of using task teaching method combined with computer software tools.The content of this study is as follows: the foreword is the first.The introduction introduces the background and significance of the topic,research overview,theoretical basis and research methods.The first chapter defines the relevant concepts and outlines the theoretical basis of the study.In the second chapter briefly describes the phenomenon of Chinese homophony,the case selection and homophony teaching methods.The third chapter based on the task-based teaching method,using multimedia software to design the homophony teaching.This study discusses the methods and specific implementation process of homophony teaching and gives the research design.The fourth chapter analyzes the questionnaire of homophony teaching in this case,and draws the corresponding conclusion.The fifth chapter reflects on the task-based teaching method using multimedia homophony teaching,finds out the advantages and disadvantages in the implementation process,and prospects its development prospects.The last is the conclusion,which summarizes the content and conclusion of this study.Overall,most of the students think that the teaching design and implementation of this study is relatively successful,which realizes their expectation of homophony learning.First of all,the application of task-based teaching method and multimedia software can play a role in mobilizing students' learning enthusiasm.Secondly,the homophonic materials selected in this study are interesting and attractive to students.Thirdly,the homophonic teaching content helps to improve students' cross-cultural communication ability which is very necessary.Of course,from the teaching effect survey and individual interviews,there are still some deficiencies in this study which is need to be further improved.
