Combination percussion is one of the performing forms of percussion.The combin ation of percussion instruments is a way to play a variety of different percussion instrum ents through reasonable allocation.At first,it only appeared in chamber music and Orch estra.Later,with the development of society and the progress of percussion culture,it gr adually developed into a solo form and became one of the necessary professional skills f or percussion players.Combined percussion has strong professional skills requirements,which is an important yardstick to measure a qualified percussion player."Mutation" added a variety of musical instruments to add more music color to the r epertoire,such as Bongo drum,wooden fish and step cymbals in jazz drum,which is uni que in the combination of musical instruments.At the same time,different hammers and the time number of the whole piece are constantly changing,reflecting the unique comp osition style.The writing form and music characteristics of this work are different from t he traditional percussion solo combination works,with stronger rhythm and more rhyth m changes.
