So in this paper,the visual angle of study will freeze in "modern percussion".Swiss-born Chinese composer De-qing Wen returned in 2007.He constantly writing modern music works, and has been committed to spread and popularization of modern music in China. He made a positive contribution to communicate between Chinese and western music. His creative inspiration from Chinese traditional arts and philosophy. His works in between complex and clear, mystery and reasonable, shock and subtle,fantasies and rigorous, clear and deep. He tried to different ways of creating different style works. He is both solid western composing technique, and deep-rooted contains music tradition of China. But he returned for a short time and his works all by Switzerland and Germany music press to publish, CD album published by STRADIVARIUS company andSwitzerland musician association. So in China, not many people know him and his works. Many Chinese composers such as Deqing Wen, they bridge for the fusion of Chinese and western music.They need to be cognition and their works more need to be spread.This paper, through in-depth analysis about De-qing Wen's three percussion works:《Complainte》,《Kung Fu》and《Willow does not complain of Xiao》understand the writing techniques and ideas for modern percussion works, examine the contribution in the area of integration of Chinese and Western. By Wen Deqing and its people concerned so as to further work on the development of overseas Chinese composers and contemporary music concerns.
