With the development of computer technology,video games,as a new form of art,have gradually become rich in content.Interaction,which is the essential characteristic of video games,makes players get entertainment experience in playing games.Nowadays,with the more and more attention is paid by game players on the ' story ' of the game,game designers begin to explore the narrative mode of the video games as narrative carrier.Among the various types of games in video games,story interactive games,as an electronic game with story narration as the main play,have special research significance.By analyzing the narrative method of excellent Story-interactive games and summarizing the narrative strategies of such games,it provides guidance at the narrative level for the creation and design of the same type of video games.The research object of this paper covers all the Story-interactive video games at home and abroad,and mainly selects the games with good quality and high reputation among players in recent years as the key case study.With the interactive narrative theory as a reference,this paper explores the narrative strategy of Story-interactive games from two aspects of narrative system and text narrative.The first chapter of this paper defines the essence of interactive movies as movies rather than games from the conclusion that the interactive characteristics of Story-interactive games should serve the player's game experience;The second chapter analyzes and summarizes the narrative system of the Story-interactive games from the perspective of narrative place,narrator and narrative structure.From the perspective of interactive narrative theory,it summarizes that the story world and nonlinear narrative frame should be constructed first when constructing the narrative system of Story-interactive games.The third chapter combines concrete examples to analyze the text narrative of the Story-interactive games from the perspective of text narrative representation and image narrative representation,and draws the conclusion that video games can assist the game narrative by referring to the way of film art.Finally,the author thinks about the present situation of Story-interactive games,and looks forward to the more ideal state of interactive narrative combined with highly developed artificial intelligence technology and interactive facilities which expand players' senses.
