The film was born in 1895,and since then has also begun an interactive journey with other art forms.For more than a hundred years,the film has taken on the strengths of each family and has given new life.Electronic games refer to all interactive games that operate on the basis of electronic device platforms and belong to a cultural activity born with the development of science and technology.The two have extremely strong commonalities.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,with the advent of the era of large-scale IP and pan-entertainment,the level of digitalization of film production technology has continuously increased,and video games known as the “ninth art” have shown a new trend of integration in the interaction with movies.An upsurge of mutual adaptation has arisen.The paper first elaborated on the mutual adaptation of films and other media;then analyzed the dynamic factors of the adaptation between films and video games,and the angle of analysis was mainly on the characteristics of the media itself,technology development,audience psychology,and media integration.In terms of economic needs,the third chapter studies the process of mutual adaptation of films and games,and analyzes the causes of success and failure in conjunction with specific cases.The fourth chapter studies how the adaptation of film and video games can inherit both the essence of the original work and preserve its own characteristics.It creates a successful work,and points out that if it is to achieve successful transformation of movies and games,it must be The characteristics of the media are retained and restored,and then based on their own media characteristics and innovation.Finally,it analyzes and sums up the current status and characteristics of China's current mutual adaptation of films and games,and forecasts the future development.
