"As a more fundamental concept in the category of " aesthetic tone " in Chinese painting and calligraphy,an examination of its theoretical connotation can provide a clearer grasp of the concept of tone and aesthetic pursuit in the art of painting and calligraphy.This paper examines the general theoretical provisions of " aesthetic style " in China from three levels:" transcendence," " distance," and " isolation.The general theoretical prescriptions of Chinese "aesthetic tone" are examined.The category of "qing" is richly discussed in philosophy and literature,which provides a theoretical basis for our study of the connotation of "qing".Therefore,starting from the general connotation of "aesthetic style",the author composes and summarizes the connotation of "qing" in pre-Qin philosophy,poetry and literature,and then explores the relevant expressions of "qing" in painting and calligraphy theory and in works of calligraphy and painting.The paper also discusses the aesthetic form of "Qing" in painting and calligraphy theories and the aesthetic form of "Qing" in painting and calligraphy works.In addition,this paper also takes Ni Zan,Zha Shibiao,and Yun Shouping as examples,and conducts an in-depth analysis of their poetry,calligraphy,and painting works to highlight the diverse expressions of the aesthetic tone of "Qing".To sum up,the author mainly explores the unique aesthetic connotation and value structure of the "aesthetic tone" of "Qing" in order to enrich the theoretical study of the "aesthetic tone" of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
