Interactive films and TV plays,as an emerging form of videos generated in the context of the“integration of films and games”,are expanding the contents of videos.With the features of both computer games and traditional film and TV plays,Interactive films and TV plays introduce the interactive mechanism and narrative characteristics of computer games into the original narrative framework of the films and TV plays and allow the audience to participate in the narration and to design the plots by virtue of the open root structure of interactive films and TV plays,thereby causing the audience to have a unique viewing experience.Domestic interactive films and TV plays have gone through the early embryonic stage with conscious development.Subsequently,under the influence of interactive films and TV plays in European and American countries,i Qiyi and Tencent have jointly promulgated technical specifications for interactive videos and established content service platforms,in addition,the mainstream video platforms have made great efforts to launch their own interactive films and TV plays,thereby sparking the booming development trend.Having summed up and analyzed a total of more than 20 interactive films and TV plays produced by domestic video platforms in recent years,this paper draws the conclusion that in the short run,more and more audience will be attracted to experience the interactive films and TV plays which have a novel viewing form to stimulate the audience to participate in the story narration by virtue of its integration of "films" and "games",in addition,more and more producers will participate in the content production.However,in the long run,due to a number of problems including the exterior impact caused by the emerging cultural industries such as short video and webcast,which leads to the reduction in the number of the users of TV plays and games as well as the interior disadvantages such as the obscure classification and features of their own,the subject homogenization,too much emphasis laid to the interaction rather than the story,and long delay in interaction operation,it is difficult to form an independent industry format of interactive films and TV plays in China,as a result,it is sure to be a mere appendage of films and TV plays as well as games within a long period of time.Only when the producers are able to optimize users' viewing experience by means of improving content quality and taking full advantage of 5G technology and artificial intelligence technology,can interactive films and TV plays sustain the validity of films and TV plays as well as games,and play a greater role in reducing the impact caused by emerging cultural industries...
