This article takes the Hexatonic Scale formed by two-degree superimposition of two triads as the research object.Through the analysis of improvisation cases containing the hexatonic scale,it explores the usage of the hexatonic scale in improvisation.This article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is an overview of the hexatonal scale.It is the foundation of this research to sort out its definition,use background,composition and principles.The second chapter expands to describe in improvisation,the melody pattern of the six-tone scale and its integration with pitch and rhythm are the focus of this article.The third chapter lists the cases and draws the important significance of the use of the three-point six scale in improvisation: it improves the accuracy of the chord description during improvisation;enriches the melody color during improvisation;strengthens the thinking of the chord longitudinal during improvisation.,The significance of these three points is the conclusion of this article.Through the study of this topic,the discovery and summary of the usage rules of the hexatonal scale during improvisation and the special and novel sound color brought by it can expand the player's choice of many improvisation elements during improvisation to a certain extent.Thus,in practice,it provides more methods to create more modern improvisational melodies.
