An Analysis Of Engels' Thought Of Objectivity

Objectivity is an exemplary predicate in the history of philosophy,which is mutually defined with the categories of reality and certainty.It is often used in many disciplines such as philosophy,sociology,economics,epistemology,theory of knowledge,practical philosophy and so on.Since modern times,with the establishment of the objectivity principle of empirical science,objectivity argumentation often plays the role of defending the legitimacy of discipline and theory.As a great teacher of Marxism,Engels did not directly define objectivity in his academic treatises,but in his anti-Turin Theory,Dialectics of Nature,Ludwig Feuerbach and the End of German classical Philosophy and other chapters,there are related interpretations and analyses of objectivity.An in-depth study of Engels' objectivity theory can help us understand the objectivity theory of Marxism and respond to the challenges of the scientific nature of Marxism from different aspects.This paper is divided into three parts.In the first part,"The Interpretation of Engels' objectivity thought",this paper mainly expounds the basic theoretical viewpoints of Engels' objectivity thought from three aspects of natural reality,ideological objectivity and social materialism on the basis of organizing the basic context of the development of western objectivity.The second part,the logical Defense of Engels' objectivity thought,mainly analyzes the relationship between Engels' objectivity thought and Kant's and Hegel's objectivity thought,on the one hand,expounds the generative logic of Engels' objectivity thought,on the other hand,carries on the meta-theoretical defense of Engels' objectivity thought.The third part,"The theoretical significance of Engels' objectivity thought",mainly focuses on defending the legitimacy of Marxist philosophy,illustrating the theoretical value of Engels' objectivity thought in responding to the scientific problems of Marxist philosophy and the difference between Marx and Engels' thought.
