On The Application Of "limitation" In Choreograph

With the development of the times and the gradual improvement of people's art appreciation level,the presentation forms of dance art have formed a diversified and rich situation.Under this diversified trend,today's dance choreographers are facing greater challenges.As an choreographers of the current era,they are often not limited to saying what they want to express,but more importantly,how to say this sentence in a unique and different way,so as to be innovative and unique.Thus,"restriction",as a choreographic technique,began to become a more popular and frequently used choice for dance choreographers in recent years.The application of "restriction" in creation is mainly to restrict some forms in the works,so that the choreographers can extremely focus on the possibility behind the restriction and try to create,and finally make the works more unique under this possibility.This study also aims to take the personal degree work "journey" as an example to focus on the multi-faceted application of the choreographic technique of "restriction" from thinking to practice,and horizontally spreading the application analysis of restriction in the whole process of work creation from "exploration","persistence" to "liberation",from "giving up and getting in form" to "breaking and standing in thinking".At the same time,in terms of form composition,combined with my own creation,the two forms of restrictions on "movement elements" and "space scheduling" are used vertically to explore the application of "restriction" in creating,and further explore the significance and value of "restrictions" in dance creation.
