In recent years,more and more middle-aged and elderly people are learning Chinese folk dances,so there is a need for more systematic classroom teaching methods in order to further develop mass cultural undertakings.This thesis selects the "Retired Dance Troupe" of the Beijing Dance Academy as a research sample,applies the theory of teaching Chinese folk dance,analyses the physical and mental characteristics of middle-aged and elderly people learning dance,and combines its own teaching experience."The thesis is based on classroom practice.Based on the classroom practice,the thesis analyses the specific teaching process,explores the innovative path of teaching dance to the middle-aged and elderly in a differentiated manner,and concludes that "inspiring teaching-experiential learning-performance consolidation "The thesis concludes that the teaching methods of Chinese folk dance are suitable for the middle-aged and the elderly,hoping to provide some reference for the popular education of middle-aged and elderly dance in China.
