Disasters And Literature In The Han And Han Dynasties

The Han Dynasty is a period of frequent disasters.Disasters not only do great harm to human material conditions and living environment,but also cause great trauma to human spirit.When human beings are suffering from great disaster trauma,although there are many ways to vent their emotions,the written record is an important way to vent,so the disaster literature is formed.In the voluminous literature of the Han Dynasty,we will find that there are abundant records of disasters,which is a kind of misfortune,because it opens a window for our research to see through the ancient disasters.In the study of disaster literature and historical documents in the Han Dynasty,the predecessors have been paying attention to it,and have achieved fruitful research results,which has laid the foundation and provided convenient conditions for the study of this paper.However,there is still a weak link in the study of some important issues often involved in literature,such as the ideological tendency of writing the theme of disaster literature,the evaluation of artistic value and so on.This leaves a research space for the further discussion of this paper,which is also the significance of the research theme and topic selection of this paper.This paper includes the following four chapters.The first chapter combs the situation of disasters in the Han Dynasty.The attention and research of the history circle to the disaster started earlier,which has done the basic work to promote the research of the disaster literature.In this paper,on the basis of previous studies,learn from previous research results,sort out the data related to the disaster,and analyze the basic situation of the disaster.The disasters in the Han Dynasty were not only large in quantity,great in influence,serious in harm,but also high in frequency.From the perspective of literature,based on the relevant historical records and the description of disasters,this paper lays a foundation for the study of the writing of disaster literature.The second chapter expounds the ideological basis of disaster literature writing,in order to clarify the relationship between disaster literature writing and the ideology of people at that time.On the ideological level,the thought of Yin Yang and five elements,the theory of heaven man interaction and divination theology are closely related to the writing of disaster literature.This ideological connection continued to envelop the mainstream ideology of the ruling class in the Han Dynasty,and had a great influence on various ideological trends in the society,forming a ruling thought and forming a strong social and cultural atmosphere.Specifically speaking,the disaster thought of heaven and man induction has been consistent from Dong Zhongshu,Liu Xiang and Liu Xin father and son to He Xiu in the Eastern Han Dynasty.It has become the mainstream official ideology and formed a systematic disaster theory,that is,a systematic disaster theory based on heaven and man induction and the theory of Yin Yang and five elements.This kind of thought permeated all social strata,permeated people's thinking,and expressed in their writing of disaster literature,thus formed the ideological basis of disaster literature in the Han Dynasty.The third chapter discusses the ideological purport of literary writing and creation under the influence of disasters in Han Dynasty.In this paper,we choose representative poems,Fu,imperial edicts,memorials and so on.This paper analyzes and summarizes the main ideas and humanistic value orientation of disaster literature in the Han Dynasty.They include the human feelings of compassion for heaven and man under the sense of heaven and man induction in Han Dynasty;The sense of hardship of lamenting current politics and criticizing current malpractices;The individual life of human beings has constant and impermanent laments and worries about disasters;People's awareness of disaster prevention and the strong and ceaseless fighting spirit shown in the governance measures.The fourth chapter discusses the unique artistic and aesthetic value of disaster literature.Disaster literature is recorded in the form of poetry,Fu,ballads,imperial edicts and memorials.Its theme and content have different emphases,but on the whole,it has the artistic style of melancholy and sadness,rich and diverse artistic techniques,and beautiful and elegant language style,which constitute the unique aesthetic value of disaster literature.No matter in the creation of poetry,Fu style,ballads or imperial edicts and memorials,the articles are full of melancholy and sadness,but also permeated with awe,fear and passion,which has a unique aesthetic value.
