Nature is the basis for the existence and development of human beings and the human society created by them,each breath of nature has a profound impact on human beings and human society.Only with the nurturing of nature can all the civilizations that mankind has and will be created in the future produce the most beautiful flowers and fruitful fruits.Natural disaster is an abnormal phenomenon in nature and a common phenomenon in nature and human society,mankind has been under the shadow of various natural disasters since its birth.The frequent occurrence of natural disasters in the new century has aroused a great interest in disaster research.In terms of the study of natural disasters,it needs both the overall height and the unique angle.There is no doubt that there is great potential to study natural disasters from the perspective of literature.Therefore,based on the existing under the theoretical framework of "disaster literature" and on the basis of existing research results,development train of thought,will be written in the novel the style of natural disasters as the research object,in order to have the "disaster literature" or may occur in the future studies of the "disaster novel" has significance of new insights.This paper is divided into six parts,the introduction discusses the relationship between natural disasters and literature,especially the impact of natural disasters on literary creation in the new century.This paper clarifies the important concepts used in the paper,introduces the current situation of relevant research in academia,points out the research methods used in this paper and the significance of the research,and lays a solid foundation for the follow-up work of the paper.Chapter 1 mainly clarify the basic dimensions of natural disasters in the novel writing in the new century,i.e.,according to the natural disasters in the text of the true or not as the basis,disasters novel writing in the new world can be divided into real and imaginary two big dimensions,and in terms of real time of natural disasters,and can be further divided,namely the history and reality.Therefore,the new century novel has formed the history,the reality,the fiction three basic dimensions,takes this as the vein,unfolds the thesis further research.Chapter 2 sums up the theme of the novel natural disasters written in the new century,mainly includes the suffering and struggle,plague and love theme,the theme of the modernization process to reflect subject,ecological and environment warning,these four types of theme is roughly grasp the
