The Inspiration Of Henri Rousseau's Painting Theme And Expressive Language To My Creation

Every age has its prophet.Henry Rousseau is regarded as a pioneer of Primitivism in the 20 th century.In the first "Fauvism" exhibition at the beginning of the 20 th century,his works with exotic feelings and exotic styles,as well as works with realistic and dreamlike themes,were unique at that time,but they were not understood and recognized,and were classified as "alien".He lived in a new Impressionist period of development,and then through the prophet school,Fauvism,until the development and completion of cubism.This paper mainly introduces Rousseau's life and style,painting theme and expression language.Rousseau draws still life,portraits and landscapes,and gradually integrates people and scenery.He calls himself "portrait landscape".There are some extraordinary things in these seemingly ordinary themes: the strange order of form and color,containing different time and space and periods,mysterious and quiet dreamland,reflecting Rousseau's inner poetic burst.His painting theme and expression language have a great impact on the author's creation.Therefore,the author analyzes the mysterious and primitive emotions expressed by Rousseau's main painting themes,such as primitive jungle painting and portrait landscape painting,and learns the expression language of techniques,composition,light and color,and applies them to the author's creation to form his own unique painting style.
