George Orwell is a writer with a strong political concern, but he is not affiliated with a certain political party, and he is also very wary of specific ideologies. While taking an overall grasp of Orwell's literary career,we can find that he is deeply influenced by British empiricism, liberalism and humanitarianism where he forms his personal daily aesthetic.Under the political prospects that were not optimistic at the time,Orwell put forward corresponding requirements for the modernist authors about their creations and emphasized the responsibilities of intellectuals. His writing tendency on literary creation is about ego and daily, which reveals a clear civilian position and inherits realism and naturalism. His novels do not only have detailed descriptions of everyday things, especially favoring the things with a Britishness character, but also use a lot of personal experience to make the novel become historical and artistic of personal experience. In Orwell?s view of writing,he raises requirements of subjects, characters, narrative styles and so on,which showing his call for ordinary, decency and truth.Orwell's daily experience writing is deeply rooted in the vast social reality, forming an aesthetic form of individual survival dilemmas intertwined with the grand crisis of the times. His writing of wandering experience expresses the courage and integrity of crossing class. The writing of urban experience explores the fact and the reason of segmentations between the old and new world, which makes him sound the alarm of the rise and diffusion of totalitarianism. The political experience involves Orwell?s state of anti-imperial and anti-colonial at an early age,and his anti-totalitarian and dystopia later, showing the persecution of British citizens by official politics. In short,Orwell writes different themes at different stages of his life, but these novels all reflect his persistence in pursuing a truth that truly belongs to ordinary people.Under the trivial details of Orwell?s fictional world,he gathers a powerful force against the oppression and injustice of modernity. He emphasizes the important physical practice of sex, connecting with landscapes to restore the human nature. He also reconstructs the utopian image of British rural through nostalgia, providing ordinary people with a "breathing" space.Orwell?s literary practice reflects his discovery of the treasure trove of ordinary people?s lives and his views on how people should deal with themselves. He recognizes that people are common, mediocrity and passiveness, but the proposition of “Inside the Whale” shows that people should use daily strategies to resolve risks of society rather than confront it,which could retain the truth and human nature to the greatest extent.
