The Historical Evolution And Protection And Utilization Of Huai'an Qingyan Garden

The main research object of this article is Huai'an Qingyan Garden,one of the few existing government offices gardens.As the most representative government office gardens in northern Jiangsu,Qingyan Garden has unique garden scenery and profound historical and cultural background.Since the establishment of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty,Qingyan Garden has undergone more than 600 years of vicissitudes and has been rebuilt many times.Today,Qingyan Garden has become a national key cultural relics protection unit.Based on previous studies,this paper uses literature analysis methods,field survey methods and other research methods to sort out and analyze the historical evolution and development status of Qingyan Garden.At the same time,it combines the status quo of local garden protection to give a review of Qingyan Garden.The problems arising in the protection and utilization are discussed,and certain suggestions are made at the same time.The predecessor of Qing Yan Garden was the Department of Household Affairs Office set up by the Governor of Ming Caoyun,Chen Xuan,and it was originally mainly used to manage Changyingcang.In the Qing Dynasty,the river official Jin Fu was ordered to manage the floods in the Jianghuai River,and to handle government affairs,the Qingyan Garden was turned into a river management hall.Afterwards,all the governors of the river were stationed here.During his tenure,the former Governors of the River Channel carried out many reconstructions and reconstructions of Qingyan Garden.The system and scale of Qingyan Garden have changed accordingly.Based on historical materials,ancient books and research results of predecessors,the author has systematically combed the historical evolution of Qingyan Garden since the Qing Dynasty.With the advancement of the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt,the significance of Qingyan Garden as an important cultural heritage site along the Grand Canal Cultural Belt has gradually become prominent.On December 31,2020,Qingyan Garden has been selected as the fourth batch of national hydrological education bases.The public education value of Qingyan Garden has also been reflected,and Qingyan Garden has become an important humanistic tourism and education resource in Huai'an.With the increase in development efforts,various problems have appeared in the protection and utilization of Qingyan Garden,such as improper protection of cultural relics;conflicts with the construction of surrounding urban areas;insufficient propaganda;weak awareness of cultural construction,etc.In response to these problems,the author combined with the actual situation and gave suggestions to strengthen the protection of cultural relics,improve the relevant legal system,and enhance public protection awareness and participation,hoping to further enhance the value of Qingyan Garden at the leisure and entertainment and mass education levels.
