The Influence Of Lyric Audiovisual And Musical Experience And Neurotic Personality On Musical Mood

The concept of music emotion can be divided into subjective and objective aspects,the subjective aspect is the listener’s own emotional experience,and the objective aspect is the emotion expressed by the listener’s perception of music.Music and language are unique phenomena in human society,which are used for communication and communication.Therefore,music should not only listen to melody,but also watch the beauty of lyrics.Therefore,this study considers the listener’s musical emotional experience under different sensory channels.Numerous studies have shown that there is a very close relationship between music emotion and individual,so this study focuses on individual factors,mainly to explore the differences between individuals with different music experiences and neurotic personality when listening to music.The first study mainly aims to explore the emotional differences of people with different musical experiences when enjoying music in the types of audio-visual channels of lyrics.The experiment adopts a three-factor mixed design of 2(music potency: positive and negative)×3(channel type: single vision,single hearing,audio-visual perception)×2(music experience: music major,non-music major).Music potency and channel type are the internal variables,while music experience is the inter-variable.Dependent variables are subjective feelings of individuals,namely pleasure and arousal.The results show that the main effects of music potency,channel type and music experience are significant,and positive music has higher pleasure than negative music;The interaction between music potency and channel type is significant,and different sensory channels will affect individual music emotional experience;Music potency,channel type and music experience interact significantly,and people with different music experiences have different emotional experiences when enjoying music.In terms of arousal,music potency,channel type and music experience have significant main effects,and positive music has higher arousal than negative music;Music potency and channel type have significant interaction.The second study mainly aims to explore the emotional differences of people with different neuroticism when enjoying music in the audio-visual channel types of lyrics.The experiment adopts a mixed design of 2(music potency: positive and negative)× 3(channel type: single vision,single hearing,audio-visual perception)× 2(neuroticism:high and low).Music potency and channel type are internal variables,and neuroticism is inter-variable.Dependent variables are subjective feelings of individuals,namely pleasure and arousal.The results show that the main effects of music potency and channel type are significant in pleasure,and positive music has higher pleasure than negative music;The interaction between music potency and neuroticism is significant,and people with different neuroticism have different emotional experiences when enjoying music;Music potency and channel type interact significantly,and different sensory channels will affect individual music emotional experience.In arousal degree,music potency and channel type have significant main effects,and positive music has higher arousal degree than negative music.Comprehensive analysis draws the following conclusions:(1)Positive music can induce higher emotional pleasure and arousal than negative music.(2)Different sensory channels will affect individual musical emotional experience.Under the condition of positive music,individuals have stronger emotional experience in auditory channel and audio-visual channel;Under the condition of negative music,the individual’s emotional experience is stronger in the visual channel.(3)People with different musical experiences have different emotional experiences when enjoying music.In the positive music auditory channel and audio-visual channel,the individual emotional pleasure of music major is higher;In the visual channel of negative music,non-music majors have lower emotional pleasure.(4)There are differences in emotional experience between high and low neurotic individuals when enjoying music.Under the condition of positive music,low neurotic individuals have higher emotional pleasure than high neurotic individuals;Under the condition of negative music,the difference is not significant.
