With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the scale and quality of the city have been further expanded,and urban temples have become an important focus of the development of Buddhism in China due to their high environmental adaptability.Although the current domestic urban monasteries are basically following a more consistent practice concept or policy,but the implementation of specific monasteries units,its specific practice results and practical problems are different.Therefore,the religious practice of individual urban monasteries in all aspects is of research value and research necessity.Based on this,the author chooses Ciyun Temple,an ancient temple of Tang Dynasty,which is located at the foot of lion mountain,Xuantan temple,the core area of Chongqing Municipality as the research object.Ciyun Temple is a typical urban temple.On the one hand,it has distinct regional characteristics.For example,by virtue of the developed transportation network advantages of Chongqing municipality directly under the central government,its temple building community has distinct characteristics of Chongqing Mountain Architecture,which makes it different from other urban temples of scale,grade and shape.On the other hand,the modern history of Ciyun Temple is different from that of the present The main development direction of Chinese Buddhism is directly related to that of human Buddhism.It has certain foresight in the practice of urban temple management and religious activities,and is a flag of contemporary urban Temple religious practice.The author mainly adopts the field investigation,first makes a preliminary investigation and Analysis on the basic situation of Ciyun Temple in all aspects,then records,comments and narrates the practice of religious activities,religious management and religious culture of Ciyun Temple,so as to grasp the religious practice of Ciyun Temple as a whole.Finally,the author briefly analyzes the specific practical problems encountered in the current development of Ciyun Temple and puts forward the preliminary solutions Scheme.The main body of the paper consists of six parts:The first chapter is mainly about the reason and significance of the topic,the brief introduction of relevant documents and concepts,and the writing methods,which have laid a solid foundation for the writing of this paper.In the second chapter,the natural,cultural,religious environment and historical evolution of Ciyun Temple,as well as the relevant eminent monks,are briefly combed as the background of the whole paper.In the third chapter,the practice of various religious activities of Ciyun Temple,such as Guanyin Bodhisattva,is discussed In the fourth chapter,the religious management practice of Ciyun Temple is investigated and studied to understand how to manage the monks' group and maintain the order of the operation of the temple,and the three characteristics of its management practice are summarized;in the fifth chapter,the urban temples of Ciyun Temple are introduced The special tourism resources of the exhibition are studied,focusing on the investigation of the community landscape of Ciyun Temple in Chongqing mountainous area,the brief statistical mapping of various developable tourism resources,and on the other hand,the diversified human Buddhist practice paths of Ciyun Temple,such as psychological counseling,Buddhist Orchestra,Sinology lecture hall,yoga,calligraphy and painting exchange,charity volunteers,etc;after the first five chapters complete a comprehensive investigation on the religious practice of Ciyun Temple in the city,the author makes a brief analysis on the practical problems encountered in the current development of Ciyun Temple in the last chapter,sums up the four problems that need to be solved and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.
