Since its inception in the 1950 s,Chinese classical dance has been nurtured and developed in a long history of profound national culture.It has taken many dance materials from opera dance and Chinese martial arts,analyzed and fused them,and referred to the training methods of ballet,eventually establishing a complete discipline system and becoming an exemplary dance.Based on the national culture and dance ontology,Chinese classical dance has revived the traditional Chinese dance culture and opened a whole new chapter in the development of Chinese classical dance,making it manifest the underlying charm of Chinese traditional culture and the oriental beauty of rigidity and flexibility with every move.This thesis will compare and contrast the distinctive features between two different art forms,dance and calligraphy,in the context of traditional Chinese culture,and theoretically elaborate on the unique artistic language of both Chinese classical dance and calligraphy,examining the similarities and commonalities between the two in terms of expression and aesthetic characteristics,as well as cultural ideas and spiritual connotations.The study will focus on the integration and practical application of calligraphy in Chinese classical dance,providing new ideas and new directions for the innovation of Chinese classical dance,and will explore the traditional aesthetic and spiritual connotations of Chinese classical dance and calligraphy to better present the beauty of the fit between Chinese culture and artistic elements.The influence and development of calligraphic art on the diversified expression of Chinese classical dance is used to emphasize that the future development of Chinese classical dance should not only preserve the unique aesthetic value of Chinese traditional culture,but also draw inspiration from a wide range of positive and beneficial artistic elements,reflecting that cultural self-confidence is the internal motivation of national and ethnic cultural inheritance and development.
