Our country's socialist rule of law has achieved world-renowned achievements since the founding of the country.However,in recent years,many incidents of damage caused by major administrative decision-making errors have occurred frequently.Historical reasons have caused the formalism and other shortcomings in the exercise of public participation in major administrative decisions.These shortcomings inevitably lead to a series of problems in the administrative decision-making process.Therefore,through careful and in-depth research to improve the problems in this system of our country,on the one hand,it is of great significance to ensure the democratic and scientific nature of major administrative decisions,and on the other hand,it is important for the public to participate in government management and safeguard public interests.The role of this cannot be ignored.This article first makes a basic overview,clarifies the concepts of major administrative decisions and public participation,and discusses the necessity of public participation in major administrative decisions.Secondly,by studying the current legislative status of my country's major administrative decision-making,it puts forward the problems existing in the public participation system of major administrative decision-making in my country.Once again,by studying the relevant systems of Canada,the United States,and the United Kingdom,it can provide a reference for improving this system in my country.Finally,in response to the current problems in this system in our country,appropriate reference to relevant successful experience abroad,combined with the actual situation in our country,put forward corresponding suggestions for improvement,such as improving the information disclosure system,clarifying the scope of public participation,improving the methods of public participation,Improve the specific system design of the hearing,improve the government feedback system,and improve the environment for public participation in the construction of the system,so that the public participation system in major administrative decision-making in my country can play its due role and contribute to the construction of socialist democracy in my country.
