The French Revolution,a historical event, has attracted the attention of many scholars both in philosophy and history.Historians think that the great revolution was a bourgeois revolution, revisionists think that the great revolution was caused by the old system itself.Although the great revolution has come to an end,the analysis of the source can re-examine history and reflect on the problems brought about by modernity. When analyzing the Jacobinism in the French Revolution,Feher thinks that Jacobinism "is a study of the origin of modernity",and interprets it as the most radical revolutionary stage in the French Revolution.By analyzing the political and economic system and its internal characteristics in the Jacobinism period,he tries to find the reasons for the failure of the revolution,so as to reflect on modernity. It can be said that from the perspective of hermeneutics,Fischer inherited and developed the traditional view of the great revolution and explored the problem of historical interpretation under the influence of hermeneutics. He pointed out that a "post historical" interpretation mode was emerging, and his critical analysis of the French Revolution was just a kind of post historical interpretation and analysis.
