The "despised" in this article is explained in popular words, that the unobjective bias against criminal defense lawyers based on cognitive differences and attribution errors will rise to online language violence or even personal attacks. The experience of lawyer-Y who encounter cyberviolence is essentially the excessive public unilateral emphasis on criminal justice, the dilemma facing the right to criminal defense. The "despised" of the criminal legal profession is not an individual phenomenon, from both historical traceability and realistic investigation,it can prove that this is a long-term and common phenomenon.First, the direct cause of "despised" in the criminal legal profession is that the public has information barriers to the cognition of criminal legal practitioners, namely cognitive differences, cognitive differences lead to attribution errors, thus forming bias, and in turn leads to a contempt mentality. The reasons for the "despised" criminal legal profession also include the underestimate of the right of defense at the legal level, the dislocation of justice, the sociological alienation of "dead knock" lawyers and the lack of legal ethics in the ethical sense. In response to the dilemma of criminal defense lawyers,it is also a solution to the criminal legal profession to "get out of trouble".It needs to start from the reasonable right of criminal defense, improve professional ethics, strengthen social responsibility, and promote the construction of a legal professional community.
