Research On Collaborative Governance Of Expressway Traffic Safety In Chongqing

As an important way of traffic and transportation,expressway traffic safety management is of great significance.On May 20 2021,a major change was in the management model of traffic safety on the city's expressways,with the Department of Transportation Changing the overall management to one managed by the Public Security Department and one by the Department of Transportation.Under the new management mode,how to integrate multi-forces,solve the existing problems,improve the management level,ensure the safe and unblocked highway,and serve the overall development of Chongqing,has become an urgent issue of highway traffic safety management in Chongqing.Taking Chongqing Expressway Traffic Safety Management as the research object,this paper adopts the methods of Literature Research,data collection and system analysis by using the theory of New Public Management and the theory of cooperative governance,and combining with personal working experience,this paper probes into the present situation of Chongqing Expressway traffic safety and the problems existing in the coordinated management,and then puts forward the feasible countermeasures.This paper collects and arranges the data of the traffic participants in Chongqing,such as safety consciousness,the number of motor vehicles,the development status of expressways,the traffic conditions of expressways,the bad weather conditions and natural disasters,etc.,this paper clarifies the present situation of traffic safety of Chongqing Expressway,and evaluates the current traffic safety situation of Chongqing expressway by analyzing the data of traffic accidents of Chongqing Expressway in recent years,the risk points of traffic accidents on Chongqing Expressway are studied.On this basis,this paper explores the status quo and problems of Chongqing Expressway Traffic Safety Coordination Governance.Based on the analysis of the existing problems,this paper further puts forward four countermeasures and suggestions for the coordinated management of Chongqing Expressway traffic safety,they are to build a cooperative governance system,strengthen the main responsibility of enterprise safety,promote the coordination of traffic participants,promote the construction of smart highway.
