Exploration of junior high school history inquiry homework is an important part of inquiry learning under the guidance of new curriculum concept and new curriculum requirement of compulsory education stage.To promote the development of student’s thinking with diversified and practical courses has important meaning and value for the teaching and learning.If we want to give full play to the function of exploratory assignment in junior high school history,teachers should dig into its scientific concept,specific classification,design principle,evaluation scheme,practical operation and so on.The paper raises some suggestions focused on designing and evaluating the exploratory homework of junior high school history by organizing some research achievements in the academic circle,as to provide some reference for the history teachers.The thesis consists of five parts:introduction,concept and function,open questions,design and evaluation,example of inquiry homework of junior high school history.In the first part,this paper discussed the dissertations reason,research situation,research methods and ideas,innovation and shortage.The second part defined the concept of inquiry homework of history based on the definition of homework and inquiry homework in academic circles.Then,the function and value was illustrated from two aspects-teaching of teachers and learning of students.The value of teaching is self improvement,creative teaching and scientific evaluation.The value of learning is arousing of interest,expanding of horizon and development of high-order thinking.The third part introduced a questionnaire survey on junior high school students’ cognition of historical inquiry homework,and analyzed its results and data.As the key part of this paper,the fourth part listed six design principles,four main types and two evaluation methods of inquiry homework of junior high school history with examples.In the fifth part,the writer designed four different types of inquiry homework about the lesson exploring a new route in the first book of grade 9,according to the research of this paper,as to provide reference for the junior high school history teachers.
