PAD(Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion)class is a new teaching model,which has been successfully applied in different disciplines and semesters.The Chinese subject is the focus of student learning in all segments,and reading is the top priority of Chinese learning.The rise of the PAD class provides new ideas for reading teaching.To explore the effect of PAD class on Chinese reading teaching in the second semester of primary school.This study analyzes theoretically the application of PAD class to the Chinese reading teaching in the second semester of primary school,and has teaching practice.Use observation method in practice to observe the state of students in class,the enthusiasm of the discussion,the mastery of knowledge.Interview method was used to communicate with students after class.Finally,case analysis was conducted to draw conclusions.This research is mainly conducted through the following five parts:The first part is an introduction,which presents the reason and significance of the topic selection,literature review,and research design,and gives a preliminary introduction to this research.The second part is the second chapter,which mainly explains the theoretical basis and model construction of applying the PAD class teaching model to the Chinese reading teaching in the second semester of primary school.Theoretically explore the feasibility of combining the PAD class with the Chinese reading teaching in the second semester of primary school and how to do it.The third part is the third chapter,which sorts out the teaching goals of primary school Chinese reading,and analyzes the primary school Chinese textbooks.On this basis,with the teaching goals as the guide and close connection with the textbooks,the class teaching design of Chinese reading teaching in the second semester of primary school is designed.It is mainly divided into five categories:story,poetry,prose,narrative and expository.The fourth part is the fourth chapter.Based on the previous theoretical research,the teaching practice is carried out.After the practice,it analyzes the teaching clip of narrative“Big eyes”eager to read and the explanatory essay Sun,combine class observations,homework feedback and interviews to explore the results of this teaching practice.The fifth part is the fifth chapter,and the research conclusions are drawn after the teaching practice.The PAD class teaching mode is suitable for the teaching of Chinese reading in the second semester of primary school and is conducive to the realization of teaching goals.And on the basis of practice,the implementation suggestions of applying PAD class to Chinese reading teaching in the second semester of primary school were obtained.
