The focus of mathematics education is mathematics core literacy,which reflects the quality and ability of a student's mathematical thinking and relates to whether a student has mathematical vision,mathematical language and mathematical thinking to see,express and solve problems in daily life.Mathematics core literacy is directly related to the goals and contents of mathematics curriculum and helps to understand the nature of mathematics,design mathematics teaching and carry out mathematical evaluation.Therefore,it is necessary to examine and research classroom teaching from the perspective of mathematics core literacy.Derivative,which is a focus of mathematics in college entrance examination and contains rich mathematical thinking methods and strong knowledge comprehensiveness,is the fertile soil for the development of a student's mathematics core literacy.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out research on derivative teaching based on mathematics core literacy.Through combing the related research on mathematics core literacy and the teaching of “derivative and its application”,this thesis clarifies the direction of the research:cultivation of students' mathematics core literacy in “derivative and its application”.On this basis,the learning status of the derivative chapter is investigated in the form of questionnaire.According to the test results,this paper analyzes the specific situation of students' lack of each mathematical core literacy in the study of "derivative and its application ".Then the students' math teacher was interviewed to find the real reason of the problem.Finally,it is concluded that the root reason for lack of mathematics core literacy comes from some shortcomings of current derivative classroom teaching.Accordingly,the teaching strategy of “derivative and its application” based on mathematics core literary is put forward: designing classroom teaching with "question chain" to develop students' logical reasoning core literacy;intensifying the training of students' derivation computing skills to develop their mathematics operation core literacy;integrating the geometric sketchpad into the derivative class to carry out experiments to develop students' intuitive imagination core literacy;analyzing the essence of concepts related to derivatives to develop their mathematics abstract core literacy;creating real-life problem situation effectively to develop students' mathematics modeling core literacy;perfecting each teaching departments meticulously to comprehensively enhance students' mathematical core literacy.Then according to the teaching strategy,the teaching design was applied to teaching practice,and the case comparison and case analysis of the section “Using derivative to judge the monotonicity of the function” are carried out with the method of case analysis.In the end,the paper reconsiders its application effect and shortcomings.The research in this thesis aims to make students deeply aware of the problems that they have encountered in learning derivative,improve their learning attitude and methods.It also aims to enable teachers to better understand the learning situation,and to realize the problems existing in the classroom teaching of derivative at present,so as to cultivate students' mathematical core literacy consciously and improve the teaching strategies and teaching quality in future teaching.
