Investigation And Research On The Status Quo Of Inter-class Sports Activities In Primary Schools In Yubei District, Chongqing

Children are the flowers of our country and the hope of our family and our country in the future.With the popularity of the concept of sunshine sports and the implementation of physical fitness monitoring,schools and parents pay more and more attention to the physical quality of primary school students.However,many schools’ large-scale extracurricular sports activities still continue the old content and boring form,which is difficult to stimulate the enthusiasm of students’ exercise,and the effect of exercise is greatly reduced.As an important part of school physical activities,the primary school physical activity between classes is an important guarantee for students to exercise for one hour every day.According to local conditions,combining with local characteristics,the innovation of large-scale physical activities between classes has attracted great attention of schools,teachers and scholars.Chongqing is a famous historical city with distinctive regional and cultural characteristics.The investigation and analysis of the primary school’s large-scale recess activities in Yubei District of Chongqing can provide some reference for the development of other similar primary school’s large-scale recess activities.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,field investigation and mathematical statistics,this paper makes a survey of the current situation of the large-scale extracurricular sports activities in Yubei District primary school.The results are as follows: 1)the leaders of Yubei District primary school in Chongqing do not attach great importance to the large-scale extracurricular sports activities,do not give enough publicity to the significance and content of the large-scale extracurricular activities,and do not actively participate in them.2)In Yubei District of Chongqing,the form of large-scale recess activities is mainly school wide activities,and some schools are grouped according to the actual situation of the school in the form of class,group,gender,and personal exercise.Most schools have about 25-45 minutes of activity time,which is quite different.The density and intensity of large-scale recess sports activities are in line with the physical and mental development of primary school students Requirements: the main content of the activities is to combine with other activities,and a few schools have launched their own characteristic projects.On the whole,there are single form,lack of pertinence and interest,lack of school-based culture,lack of regional cultural characteristics and so on.3)80% of schools have supervision groups for the sports activities between classes.The members of the groups generally include school leaders,PE teachers,class teachers and some students’ union cadres,but the supervision evaluation table and incentive mechanism are slightly single.4)During the big break,outdoor activities are the main activity,and the indoor activity venue and content are scarce.Especially affected by the special "Meiyu" and "summer drought" weather in Chongqing,some schools change to indoor activities such as sign language exercises in the classroom,and most schools will change to indoor self-study classes.5)In Yubei District,Chongqing,the primary school physical education teachers are insufficient,the proportion of teachers and students is low,the gender ratio of teachers is large,there are more male teachers and less female teachers.According to the problems existing in the large-scale extracurricular sports activities of Yubei District primary school,the following suggestions are put forward: 1)to increase the publicity and improve the teachers and students’ cognition of the significance of the large-scale extracurricular activities.2)The leaders should pay more attention to the activities between classes,increase the investment of hardware facilities and funds,and strengthen the introduction of teachers.3)Combined with the regional and cultural characteristics of the region,design scientific and reasonable large-scale and colorful activities.4)Improve safety facilities and measures,and establish a scientific management evaluation mechanism.5)Through organizing competitions,exchange activities and other ways,we can encourage and promote the development of large-scale extracurricular sports activities in Yubei District primary school.
