Chemical modeling is an important scientific method.It is a "bridge" between emotional thinking and logical thinking.It has important practical significance for students' lifelong education and development.Cultivating students 'ability of chemical modeling is conducive to abstracting and simplifying chemical models from complex chemical problems by using chemical methods and chemical terms in solving chemical problems,and improving students' core chemistry literacy.Fully understand the previous research on chemical modeling and find that students 'modeling ability level not only affects students' understanding and mastery of chemical knowledge,but also affects the cultivation of students 'core literacy.The importance of students' chemical modeling ability does not match the level of modeling ability development.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the obstacles encountered by students in chemical modeling,and based on this,put forward effective strategies to improve students' chemical modeling ability.First,the use of literature analysis to define the core concepts,The chemical model is divided into:material model,symbol model,thought model,mathematical model.The students' chemical modeling ability is divided into four levels from low to high: model description ability,model explanation ability,model prediction ability,model generation ability.Secondly,in the high school stage,students learn about chemical models,which can be obtained from three aspects.General high school chemistry curriculum standards,chemistry textbooks,and college entrance examination exam outlines.The statistical analysis method was used to sort out and classify the new curriculum standards,the Luke version of the new textbooks,and the chemical models in the national volume I in the past five years.Again,use the survey method and interview method By designing the "high school students' level of chemical modeling ability" test paper,the status of high school students' modeling ability is tested and the level of chemical modeling ability of students is analyzed..After analyzing the data,it is concluded that the student's level of modeling ability is low,mainly for three reasons: First,lack of modeling awareness;second,lack of model thinking ability;third,insufficient grasp of basic knowledge of chemistry.During the interviews with high school teachers and chemistry teacher students,it was found that the teachers had vague chemistry models and model teaching concepts and ignored the cultivation of students' modeling ability.Finally,according to the three reasons for the low level of students' modeling ability,The strategies and teaching suggestions for cultivating students' consciousness of chemical model are put forward.The teaching design is carried out through the modeling teaching method to train students' model thinking ability and improve their chemical modeling ability.
